Prompt #3 at PBP

Hello ladies, hope your weekend was great and that your Trick or Treat night was even better.
Our third challenge is up at POINT BLANK PERIOD I have to say that this challenge was a very emotional one for me. Here is my take on it.

Point Blank

The journalling reads: October is breast Cancer Awareness month so I had my first mammogram done, a week later I was told I had to get an ultrasound done, a week later I was told "it seems to be a complicated cyst" Today I am scared, scared of the unknown, scared that that our daughters are still too young but I know that with you by my side there is NOTHING we can not overcome.

I kinda sorta broke the rules, we were supposed to use 3 pictures but I needed these 4, on the bottom right I went by myself for my mammogram and the bottom left is the mammogram machine which by the way when I asked the lady if I could take a picture she thought I was crazy but she humoured me and said "OK" the top left is a picture of me and my husband, he felt it was important to be there with me for the ultrasound and I have to admit that I am glad he came and of course on the top right side is the results.
I know some people might think it's kinda weird that I chose to post this but this is good therapy for me, I have yet to share this with my family because there is no need to worry them but this is why I have a blog, it's to share my creative side and to sometimes vent : )

As always, THANK YOU for your sweet comments, have a wonderful week!!!

I remember when they found something in my mom's breast last year, the scariest part was the waiting. Even when it turned out to be bad news, and she was told she had to have a mastectomy, she actually felt releaved something would be done about it ... it had been the wait that had been driving her crazy. there seems to be comfort in just knowing, even if it's not what you wanted to hear, you know?
My thoughts are with you my sweet friend. You did a great job recording your feelings, I think it's important to scrap not only the good times but also the bad...

I so agree with Peggy!!!! It is wonderful that you could record what you are feeling...this is what our craft does....allows us to express ourselves...I too know how the waiting is so fearful and I agree....with your husband standing by your side...you can face anything!! Have a great day sweet friend!!! :-)
