Ok, so after having what I consider to be one of the roughest week ever and really needing it to get better soon, I get this
I was like a 4 year old in a candy store. A couple of weeks ago the oh so talented Christine Middlecamp. had a a give away, all you had to do was post a comment, now...anyone who knows me knows that I am one for posting comments because I think that if you visit someone's blog and like what you see, you should tell them and there is nothing nicer than getting a nice message, a message other than "this is FPL and we will be reading you meter on the next business day" ;D So I posted a comment because I thought her Christmas pictures of little Ethan were so sweet, never thinking I would win and guess what? I WON!!!!!! I won the My Mind's Eye papers but because it took her a few extra days to mail me my papers because she got snowed in 1 day and then CHA preparations had her busy she threw in all those other goodies. Can you believe her generosity? WOW!!!! And those Sassafras stamps, OH MY WORD! I love me some Sassafras. So remember, always post a message when you visit blogs, even if it's to say hi! Have a wonderful day.

The girls were SO excited to get the HSM Bella Dancerela DVD, you have no idea of the hell we went through to get this, no one in South Florida had any left so we called Walmart in Lakeland and were able to get the last 2. The things a mother will do for her kids :D
Gotta add some stickles to these cute little ones.
This page was the back of my I believe in Santa. page I did a few weeks ago. Since the page had all these little places to journal I went ahead and slapped on our annual Christmas morning picture and documented special little things about this special day. Angejolie wrote Santa a little note and Solimar scribble a little something too.
This layout was so much fun to do.
These flakes are from a prima paper that I cut out, chalked and then added stickles to give it that extra little humph. And that little angel was done by my Angejolie while I was doing the layout so I thought it would be nice to add it to my page.
I Just noticed that I put 50 degrees on my layout, it was 35 degrees that night, I guess I will have to stamp a 2 and pray that I do not mess my page because I use permanent adhesive :O
Once again, thank you for putting up with yet another looong post ;D
Have a wonderful week.

Last week we spent 4 days in Lakeland with my cousin and her family and as always we had a great time. I have live in South Florida for 21 years and NEVER and I mean NEVER have I been as cold as I was in Lakeland, I even saw a little piece of ice on our car...What the heck?
Here are some pictures of our little trip as well as a layout I did for my cousin right before we left, it was so last minute that I had to go to my van to get some things LOL
My beautiful cousin flew down with her husband so that she could drive back up with us since my husband had to driver his work take home car for the convention he had to go while we were there.
And we are OFF, Thelma and Louise with children but no driving off the cliff.
Happy kids makes for a fun ride.
Here we are roasting marshmallows and boy was it cold, I think it was 35 degrees, again... What the heck? And how about those white socks I was sporting! I never ever put socks on but then again it was 35 degrees so I borrowed some.
And the layout I did for her, she loved it and put it on her wall.
Angejolie was so sad to go, she does not understand why Titi and family have to live SO SO far, it broke my heart to see her that sad.
This is what a four day trip looks like when it comes to bags...
Traveling with kids and a crazy mom like me means lots and lots of clothes, bikes and lets NOT forget SCRAPBOOKING STUFF!
I hope you all have a wonderful week. Thanks for putting up with the overloaded picture post.

I chose this picture of my boss Barbara holding her son Nicholas' hand after he had surgery to his brain to save his life from that horrible car accident. When I read the words I immediately thought of Barbara and how she got her strength from her faith in order to get through that nightmare. This is actually the first time I have done a challenge with them.
I won't be made useless I won't be idle with despairI will gather myself around my faith For light does the darkness most fear My hands are small, I know But they're not yours, they are my own But they're not yours, they are my own And I am never broken
Hope you like it, have a wonderful Friday....OOOOH it's pay day ladies, which means 1 thing and 1 thing only, a visit to my local scrapbook store :D

Today is a GREAT day.
My dear friend JENNIFER. came out of surgery last night at 7 pm and her husband said that all went well, they say the cancer did not spread spread from her breasts to her lymph nodes, I tell you God is great and as my my dear Nicholas....well, what else can I say other that God is great, 5 days ago we were told to prepare to say our farewell and today there is a possibility that he mat go home. His memory from 01/01/90 to 01/05/90 is gone and he repeats himself over and over but he is doing great. Thank you for your prayers.
Here is a layout I did with my NOEL MIGNON. winnings for INSPIRED BLUEPRINTS.
our Solimar climbing her art table to get to the glass ornaments that we put on the top of the tree because we knew her curiosity would get the better of her and maybe break one. We asked her NOT to get on chairs to to get the ornaments, I guess we should have also mentioned that art table :D
I hope you have a wonderful day.

As I said the other day my dear friend Nicholas was involved in a horrible accident, his parents were told to prepare to say goodbye to their son and I believe that because God is great and so is science Nicholas has come around. He is talking and remembers us and I just want to say THANK YOU to those who prayed for him and for your sweet emails. I have been taking daily pictures of them and journaling it all for them and here is this touching picture I took of Nicholas having his mom hold his hand as we were trying to get him to wake up.
Now, this morning Solimar and I went in to the office and guess what was waiting for me......
YES!!!!!!!!!!! The goodies I won at NOEL MIGNON. 2 weeks ago (I THINK) October Afternoon's Christmas papers are one of my FAVE this year so when I found I won I was beside myself. Can you believe that I had no clue that I had won because I did not know I was supposed to go into the forum to find out who won, so yeah! I was SO SO happy this morning.
Now for more serious news, my dear dear friend JENNIFER. is having surgery done tomorrow at 7 am, as some of you may know, she was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago, so please stop by her blog and show her some love because it would mean the world to her.
Thank you for putting up with my long post and have a wonderful Tuesday.

I got dressed as fast as I could and my husband to driver me there to be with her, her husband and daughter. I stopped by Dunkin Doughnuts to get them some coffee and bagels for breakfast because yall know hospital can kill someone and let me not get started with the blah coffee. Can you believe that that small gesture meant the world to them?
Like the picture fanatic and scrapbooker that I am I brought my camera and told her that even though this is a devastating time in their lives she should take pictures and document everything so that he can see the hell he put them through for not wearing his seat belt. And guess what? As hard as it must have been, she did it and she captured some beautiful touching pictures of Dad's hand on his son's chest as his sister just stared at him as well as pictures of Mom by his bed side. I promised her that I will make her a beautiful journal and add the pictures and everything they journalled.
Please say a prayer for Nicholas Garcia for us because the next 72 hours are critical and I believe in the power of a prayer.
Thank you with all my heart, Maryangella
