Art Journaling 102
Keep in mind that this is my fisrt time and it was done in under 15 minutes since hubby had to work late and I had 2 little girls that kept fighting (Sol kept destroying AJ's leggo tower) so you can imagine the drama. I am so happy to be taking this class because after only 1 day, I am in love with paint, gesso and all that jazz.....
I figured I would do a journal of our family, how it all began, a little something for our girls to look back on 1 day. The great part is that AJ and Sol are able to participate as they did on this first page.
Have a wonderful week.

Day 5
The worst thing was not being able to hug/kiss my girls or my husband.
5 days with no coffee, no Little Debbies and no scrapbooking. 1/2 an hour ago
I started feeling better, but I am still too scared to hug or kiss anyone.
On a good note my husband got me THIS. for Valentine's Day and it starts on Tuesday. Can I tell you how flipping excited I am??????? Very flipping excited!!!!! Thank God I am feeling well enough to be able to drive because I have to get all my supplies.
Here are 3 layouts I did last weekend I think??? I have this new found love for American Crafts papers, THE PAPER NICHE. carries them all, old new, you name it.
And here is the winner...do not laugh, we all have pictures of us in our young days and I scrapped this one to show our girls that at one time in my life, I too had no sense of style. Really!!! What in he world was I thinking with this Contempo outfit, which by the way had the matching tights to go along LOL.
Here's to a healthier week, thanks for stopping by. Before I forget, remember that song "What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man" by Sal & Pepa? That song goes out to my wonderful husband for holding down the fort these past 5 day. I mean, cooking, bathing the girls, getting Angejolie ready for school, laundry, name it, he did it. He ROCKS!

Journey album
My day was pretty nice, considering we have a 5 and 2 year old.
As some of you may know on January second 2009 we almost lost our dear Nicholas but by the grace of God and medicine hew got a second chance at life. I had given his mom my camera to take pictures when he came out of surgery and made sure I got as many pictures every day to remind him of the hell he put his parents, sister and those who love him and to remember from this day on to always wear a seat belt. Any hoot, he are a few pages and journaling I have done for him so far.
Angejolie made this card with me and wrote him a little note, I love her funky hearts :)
I did this page for Scrapping The Music
Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful week.

Valentine Crop-a-thon
They have all kinds of challenges and games and they are so friendly and positive.
Here are 2 layouts that I have managed to do after the girlies went down, yep! that's when I scrap, when the tribe is out cold :)
The first layout you had to use a heart, a ribbon and journal in the form of a letter, the heart was made by my Angejolie, I always add something she has made to my layouts, so if you ever see a little triangle or a square etc. that looks out of place...that's her work of art.
The second layout you had to tear something, use a circle and hand cut, I forgot to had cut something when I was all done, so I had to hand cut the dragonfly.
Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful night.

CRAZY
The journaling read: 11 years ago I married my Soulmate after knowing him for 4 months, We woke up on Tuesday and decided to get married on Friday the 13'th. Most said we were CRAZY but what do they know? Would I do it again? HELL YEAH! BTW it was not a shotgun wedding.
There ism ore journaling in the back for our girls to read, I did write that I would not want them to get married in a court house like we did but if to know that what ever decision they make in life, as long as it makes them happy and it's a healthy decision we will always support them.
Thanks for stopping by.

Valentine
Since things are a little tough thanks to this crazy economy thing I told my dear husband that Ido not want anything this year, that is except for THIS. I can not wait to get started.
I decided to make our own Valentine's day cards this year and I have to say it was lots of fun.
I cut out 2 hearts, Angejolie wrote Happy Valentine's Day on it with a pencil and I then traced it with stickles so that it would show on our picture. (notice she wrote LOVE ANGEJOLIE twice?) This is what the post cards look like. I know I need to take a photography class but this is good enough for now ;)
This is what I had to deal with, Solimar is a trip, you see, Angejolie knows that I will not stop until I get my picture so she figures she might as well get it done on the first shot and she also loves the camera but Solimar.... well, everything is fun and games and she is our little clown.
Thanks for stopping by and always putting up with my heavy picture loaded posts :)
Have a wonderful day.

What a weekend.
Can I just say that I started my weekend with what I like to call a bang.
Friday night, after a week from hell I went to Tamrod's house with my neighbour AKA my sister in law Amanda to scrap. I only managed to do 2 layouts because... well I was too busy drinking Dunkin Donuts coffee and just enjoying chit chatting with the girls without having my beautiful little Princesses asking me for a gazillion things :D
I did this layout with one of the pages I got from Christine Middlecamp.
They had this challenge at THE DESIGNX. (which I completely forgot to submit my layout) and it was about what you left behind in 2008. What I am leaving behind is going bonkers with my credit card. It drives my husband CRAZY. He does not understand why I can't just use my debit, my sorry excuse is... I have no excuse to be honest with you :D
This second layout is of us having our Thanks Giving in January with my cousin and family. We did not get to go up to Lakeland for Thanks Giving because we had just found out about Soli's allergies to peanuts and dogs and were too scared to expose her to their indoor dogs, but last month the allergist said we could go as long as we give her Cleratin once a day, gotta LOVE that Cleratin.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful week.
