F.O.R.D

Hello ladies, prepare yourselves for another long post.
So! This past Friday as I was driving up and down Peters Rd in Plantation trying to put Hurricane Sol to sleep my mini died right on the road. YEP! Left me stranded dead smacked in the middle of the street, thank the Lord I was able to make it to the right hand side. Now mind you, Hurricane Sol was still NOT asleep and as I was trying to call my husband she started screaming "Mama! Belt off" "Mama! Sol get down" I so wanted to pull my hair out and jump off a bridge ;D anyhow my husband showed up 15 minutes later and ladies, I kid you not when I say there is nothing he can not fix, but this time we were basically $h!t out of luck because my freaking transmission died. Here are the pictures.......

FORD aka found on road dead

My Prince came to our rescue, by the way, he just busted his @$$ as we speak :D ooh! is he mad!

Photobucket
Hurricane Sol has decided she wants to sit in her car seat, and buckle up right on the side walk.

Photobucket
Sol is walking me, did I mention it was HOT as all hell?

Photobucket
Here we go with the attitude, I was tired and hot, I was wearing high wedges and my feet hurt and oh yeah! It was HOT as all hell!!!

Photobucket
Thank the Lord that my husband was there, he managed to calm her down while we waited and waited and waited for the tow truck.

Photobucket
Finally! The tow truck!

Later, mini van!

Melt down of the year, she was so tired it had been 2 hours that my poor baby had to put up with and that was it.

As we re driving home on 595 I saw that, yep! My handsome husband. I had to take a picture and he laughed his @$$ off because he thinks I am crazy :D and call it what you want, I think it's cool to have pictures of everything that happens in your life, good or bad.

And ladies, that is my story for this past Friday, I am thankful that my car did not give out on me on the Turnpike, I am thankful that I have a wonderful husband that was there to help me, I am thankful that we have a second car to drive while my mini van gets a new transmission and that my husband has a take home car from work. Am I happy that we were his with huge bill to pay? HELL NO! But I am still thankful for all the other blessing the Lord has given us. Have a wonderful day

Oh dear! I hope your mini van comes home soon. I love how you captured the whole story on camera. Your poor little one looks so tired! I'd be cranky, too, if I had to wait that long for a tow truck.

That's so cool that your hubby is on a billboard! Now that's definitely scrap-worthy!
