Lets start off with the fact that our Rock Band party was cancelled. At first a was a little upset about it but then I was happy with the fact that I got to spend the night with the family and my mom. Mom kept the girls entertained while I did a layout, then we watched Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, can I tell you that we were cracking up so hard and non stop that I almost fell off the couch, maybe it was because I had 2 happy juices or not!
Off the subject for a second, what is up with Mom being so light? We live in S. FLA for the love of all that is great! Mom, get a tan.
And we also watched the Olympics, do you know that Angejolie was cheering "lets go M Phelps lets go" Lets go USA lets go" and then she turns to look at me when he won his 8'th medal and says, "Mommy, you are not an American, you are a Canadian Peruvian, how come you are cheering?" My reply was "I am an American Resident" What in the world kind of a question was that, I blame it on my mom since she is always saying how she can NOT believe that I have not yet applied to become a Citizen after being here for 21 years. Here is a picture Angejolie took of his win.
Do you know that afterwards as he and his team were walking with the flag and taking pictures, he stoped to walk thought the crowd in the bleachers to hug and kiss his mom, I swear to you that it brought a tear to my eye, how sweet was that?
I know, I know, enough with the blah blah blah, here is the layout I did last night
I got the inspiration and quote from here http://laylekoncar.typepad.com/ layout #11 in her layout section, layout #11.
And yes! I am stiiiiiil using my Scenic Route papers, I am just loving how easy they are to work with. Well have a great Sunday and for you S Floridians get your HURRICANE SURVIVAL KITS READY! Even though I doubt that this tropical storm will hit us that bad. I on the other hand will be husbandless since BSO has made it it mandatory that they work 12 hour shift until it passes. DARN THEM ;D
